An indicia is the info in the box at the corner of mail piece that takes the place of a stamp. It contains the postage rate, the permit holders account number and where it is mailed from.
Using an indicia can save you a bundle.
We work with the post office and determine the amount of postage needed for your mailing. We then get that postage money from you, put it in our postal account and the Post Office takes that postage amount from our account. Your check needs to be made out to “Postmaster”. (not us!)

For mailings that we handle for you there are three imprints we supply that you can drop into your artwork. Click the images below to download a pdf and then insert it into your art.

Unusual Shapes and Sizes
Sometimes a piece of mail requires additional postage because it is a certain shape or size that is difficult to process on mail sorting machines. To make sure you’re paying the correct postage, visit usps.com.
These are examples of mail that could require additional postage:
· – Square envelopes
· – Envelopes on which the address is written parallel to the shorter edge.
