After four months of working with the California Department Of Transportation (Caltrans), we received notification that the documentation we provided meets the eligibility standards to be certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)* and we have now been instated in the California Unified Certification Program DBE database.
The determination was based on us being a Woman-Owned Business, and while none of us here at Mail Management Group feel that status puts us at any sort of actual disadvantage, we’ll take the acknowledgment, happily.
This DBE Certification means that any business or non-profit organization that is required to, or simply prefers to, work with socially responsible vendors for their marketing programs need look no further than Mail Management Group.
