1) Let people know!
Hoping folks will see your OPEN sign as they drive by is one way to go. But leaving things to chance is, by definition, kind of risky.
A much more effective – and efficient – way to go is to send out a postcard or mailer letting your regular customers and people in your area know that your doors are open and you’re ready for business.

2) Pay attention to the advice of the San Diego Small Business Development Center.
