Here’s a free service from the USPS that can triple the impressions you make with every mailing.
Every time you mail a letter-sized piece with a barcode, your recipients who have Informed Delivery will get an email from the USPS the morning your piece is due to arrive – even when they are traveling – telling them to watch for it in their mailbox. The email will have an image of your piece right there, Impression #1.
The email will also include a link to your customer’s “Dashboard” where they can view all their mail on the USPS website. As the email states, “You may have more mail or packages than shown here,” encouraging them to click through. Impression #2.
What’s the third Impression? Just the most important one: when your customer actually picks up their mail. So you are getting three hits for the price of one! At absolutely zero additional cost!
So ask your customers to go to informeddelivery.usps.com and click “Sign Up for Free.” They’ll enjoy the service and will appreciate you for clueing them in.
